Remote Worker Meetup: History & Hacks
January 30, 2026 –
Meetup for remote workers, freelancers, hybrid employees, and telecommuters!
This was a fantastic gathering , co-hosted by A2i and the Saranac Lake Free Library, for our community of telecommuters, freelancers, and location-neutral professionals. Even with the chilly temperatures, the room was full of energy as we connected with our local remote work community. It’s inspiring to see this network grow—every time we meet, we discover more talented telecommuters and pros who have chosen to call the Adirondacks home.
The highlight of the afternoon was a glimpse into vintage Winter Carnival footage, narrated by a local historian. It was the perfect way to get into the spirit before the 2026 Winter Carnival officially kicks off on February 6!
